What can Trion Model help you analyse?
Its forestry tools support individual-tree segmentation and extraction of tree position, height, crown dimensions and diameter at breast height (DBH). The resulting records can support tree-distribution maps and inventory reports.
Species-identification tools use imagery to assist labelling. Review suggested species alongside field observations, and check segmentation and measurements before reporting.
Useful results depend on captured coverage: dense vegetation and hidden treetops can leave gaps. Where volume or carbon outputs are required, discuss the supported calculations, species information and assumptions with us.
Choose the capture workflow around your site
Tell us the plot size, tree density, terrain, access and measurements you need. We can compare the Trion P2 and S2 with other systems in the range and arrange a demonstration using a representative sample of your work.
If tree locations must align with GIS or other survey data, plan the coordinate system and positioning or control workflow before capture. We will also help confirm the software version, forestry features and licence required.
